Kathryn Evans

Kathryn Evans is the President of Rooted Strategy which she founded to provide support and encouragement to organizations that seek to create a more just and equitable world. She works at the intersection of social justice, systems change and consciously shaping culture toward equity and liberation. Kathryn’s professional track record includes growing local leadership and capacity as a community organizer; designing and leading successful multi-sector strategic planning initiatives; developing infrastructure and processes to streamline organizational activities; and facilitating initiatives that require collaboration across social, racial, and economic difference. Her strengths are building resilient teams and networks and holding space for big shifts to happen in complex systems. Kathryn's work is aligned with her values and her calling: to facilitate the transition towards inclusive spaces where power is generated to liberate people. She holds degrees from Vanderbilt University and University of Missouri, is a certified coach and mediator, a parent, and a dancer.
